Elon Musk’s SpaceX will be added to the WisdomTree Space Economy UCITS ETF as of 29 June 2026, following its record-breaking IPO last week.
Since the IPO, SpaceX’s share price has risen roughly 19% according to data from Google Finance
The stock will join the ETF range with an initial weighting of 5.5%, but under the index methodology it will qualify with a weighting in excess of 10%, with more increases anticipated in subsequent months.
The ETF provides exposure to the companies driving the development of the global space economy across launches/infrastructure, commercial space, defence space and emerging technologies. It is listed on the London, Italian, German, French and Swiss stock exchanges.
Pierre Debru, European head of research at WisdomTree, said: “SpaceX has played a defining role in lowering barriers to space, increasing launch frequency and accelerating commercial participation across the sector.
“Following its IPO, investors can now gain exposure to one of the most influential commercial space companies shaping the future of space as part of a diversified strategy designed to capture the long-term growth of the space economy,” Debru added.
