OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — After the active weather this past week, summer has arrived. It’s going to be hot, dry, and windy to start this week, with heat index values expected to reach 105 on Sunday and Monday. The rest of the week doesn’t look much better, as highs continue to rise into the upper 90s. For fourth of July weekend, we look to be dry, but it could be the hottest days of the week with highs around 100. We’ll continue to update as we get closer to the weekend but make sure you’re hydrating and staying cool this week!TONGIHT: Clear with a low of 79 and a South wind at 25 mph.SUNDAY: Sunny with a high of 96 and a South wind at 30 mph.NEXT WEEK: Highs will climb into the upper 90s by midweek and into the triple digits by the weekend.
