The Dow Jones index fell by 0.09% to 51,876.11 points, the S&P 500 index declined by 0.05% to 7,354.02 points, and the Nasdaq index dropped by 0.24% to 25,297.62 points.
In European stock markets, the FTSE 100 index decreased by 0.21% to 10,508.02 points, France’s CAC 40 index fell by 0.55% to 8,384.87 points, and Germany’s DAX index dropped by 1.29% to 24,671.22 points.
In global markets, the euro appreciated by 0.12% against the U.S. dollar to 1.1384 dollars.
