EthCC[8] moves to Cannes as Ethereum Community gathers at a critical moment for growth and resilience

Robinhood, Crypto Life, and 1inch, join as sponsors as the Ethereum community gathers to strengthen the network and chart its next phase of growth

CANNES, France – 13 May 2025 – EthCC (Ethereum Community Conference), the largest annual European Ethereum conference created for the community, by the community, returns for its eighth edition — EthCC[8] — taking place from June 30 – July 3, 2025 in Cannes, France.

Institutional sponsors Robinhood and Crypto Life (powered by Baanx), highlight Ethereum’s deepening integration into traditional finance. Following the Pectra upgrade activation in May 2025, Ethereum’s scalability and protocol efficiency is set to lay the foundation for broader adoption.

EthCC[8] will gather more than 400 speakers from around the world for four days of talks, workshops, and community-led side events. Key speakers include Vitalik Buterin, Co-founder of Ethereum; Johann Kerbrat, Head of Robinhood Crypto; David Lisnar, Mayor of Cannes; and Remo Glauser, Product Manager at Sygnum Bank. The goal remains simple yet powerful: to share and transmit knowledge that supports a positive, open, and abundant Ethereum ecosystem.

The event will also host the EthVC program, where selected startups pitch to top VCs, including DFG, BPI France, Thêta Capital, and Accel. This program offers a unique launchpad for emerging projects at the forefront of blockchain innovation.
