Hindustan Zinc Limited reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2025. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was INR 88,290 million compared to INR 72,850 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 93,140 million compared to INR 78,220 million a year ago. Net income was INR 30,030 million compared to INR 20,380 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 7.11 compared to INR 4.82 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 7.11 compared to INR 4.82 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was INR 330,410 million compared to INR 280,820 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 350,660 million compared to INR 300,060 million a year ago. Net income was INR 103,530 million compared to INR 77,590 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 24.5 compared to INR 18.36 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 24.5 compared to INR 18.36 a year ago.

Hindustan Zinc Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in exploring, extracting, and processing of minerals. The Company has two operating segments, namely Zinc, Lead & Silver and Winde energy. The Company’s operations include five zinc-lead mines, four zinc smelters, one lead smelter, one zinc-lead smelter, eight sulfuric acid plants, one silver refinery plant, six captive thermal power plants, and four captive solar plants in the state of Rajasthan. Its mines include Rampura Agucha, Sindesar Khurd, Rajpura Dariba, Zawar, and Kayad. The Rampura Agucha Mines hosts India’s zinc-lead deposit. The Company has a rock-phosphate mine in Matoon, near Udaipur in Rajasthan and zinc, lead, silver processing, and refining facilities in the state of Uttarakhand. Its subsidiaries include Hindustan Zinc Alloys Private Limited, Vedanta Zinc Football & Sports Foundation, Hindustan Zinc Fertilisers Private Limited, Zinc India Foundation, and Hindmetal Exploration Services Private Limited.
